Ladies League

We are a group of approximately 45 ladies who play bowls with varying degrees of expertise!

New members are always welcome experienced or novices if you would like to try bowling for the first time we will always be pleased to help.

We start our year in January when we mmet for lunch, which gives us an opportunity to catch upbefore the start of the season. We have our Spring meeting in February at which the members pay £25 subscription, which includes our crown green registration fee.

We have teams in each of the three divisions of the Birkenhead Leagues, which suits all abilities of bowler. We play our matches in the afternoons but can practice anytime if there is a green available.

In April we have a 'Round Robin' competition to start the season followed by various internal cup/trophies spread across the year and awarded at the bowls AGM in October.

Each summer we have a bowling day out finishing with a meal at a venue away from the local area.
